SFNC Golf Invitational & After Par-Tee

Invest in Baltimore's Reservoir Hill by supporting the final phase of our capital project!

This fundraiser will support St. Francis Neighborhood Center to build a transformational adjustable space that can accommodate larger activities and gatherings such as yoga, exercise, and safety classes; or, become an indoor play area, recreation space, or separated into small group spaces. We are also adding on two more classrooms which will move us from 75 to 200 children to be served. Youth have waited 3 years to attend Center programming due to lack of safe space. Now, we can make it happen!

Meet acclaimed classical pianist Ryan Shookman, who will be providing live entertainment at this year's After Par-tee:

Mr. Ryan Shookman is a long time friend of SFNC. He began his studies at a young age with his mother in his hometown of South Orange County, CA. From the day he began, he wanted to become a classical pianist. Mr. Shookman proceeded to study at The Redlands School of Music in California, The Juilliard School in New York City, and at The Paris Conservatory and International Academy of Music of Nice in France receiving the equivalent of multiple masters degrees in classical piano. No stranger to the concert stage, Mr. Shookman has been heard worldwide in over 20 countries. He currently has been residing in Baltimore, Maryland where he holds a studio of more then 30 students, is music director of New Light Lutheran Church, on the board of LARA ( LGBT Academy of Recording Arts ) representing classical music, performs frequently as a soloist and collaborative artist. When it comes to theatre, he has directed over 25 shows at professional, regional, and community theaters in the Baltimore/Washington metro area. Mr. Shookman feels talents are combined with needs in the world; his hands have brought in over $100,000 to charitable organizations in the year 2019. One of his top inspirations is his sister and buddy who has Down’s Syndrome. Mr. Shookman “feels so fortunate to be a translator of the beautiful language of the soul, that of music.”
